Jennifer LaMountain (soprano) • Angela Bryant-Brown (alto) • Rudy Micelli (tenor) • Steve Darmody (bass)

Whether seen on television or heard live in concert, Rudy Micelli’s voice and ministry are a compelling force and create an excitement and desire in the listener to experience more. More of the beauty of music, more of the beauty of Christ. The energy and passion of his character is readily heard in the voice and his love for God is evident in all he shares.

Although some might compare him to Josh Groban, Steve Green or to David Phelps, his second tenor resonance is filled with a beauty all it’s own. Rudy has a masterful way of communicating through tones and expressions and audiences long to hear him again and again.

Rudy Micelli, born in Brazil, sang his first solo in church at age 5. With seven (yes, 7) older siblings he inescapably was assigned to soprano with his mother in the Micelli Family choir.

His professional vocal training began at 18 when he attended institutions such as "Goethe Music School", "Instituto Musiarte"  and "Federal University of Rio Grande Do Sul".   As a member of the highly awarded and popular music group "Vocal Mandrialis”, he gained notoriety on the premiere stages of Brazil and became a performer in his own right.  But God’s calling in his life brought him full circle, back to the music of his childhood – the music of Christ.

His move to the United States, in 1997, brought about a new challenge. Not only was he performing in a new musical genre, but in a new language.   Today, he speaks and sings fluently in English, Spanish and Portuguese and has become a favorite with numerous cultural audiences.  Recent appearances on national television programs (Quiet Hour's Windows of Hope) and satellite broadcasts (3ABN, Dove TV, LLBN, SafeTV) have introduced him to the Christian community around the world and they have welcomed his music and ministry with open arms.

His five CDs include dynamic, ministry rich, songs in four languages.  The Christmas Prayer CD is quickly becoming a holiday favorite and includes the internationally beloved duet The Prayer, recorded with Jennifer LaMountain.  This season’s Christmas tour will feature spine tingling performances of Sent By The Father; Joy, Joy and In All of His Glory, a powerhouse duet with Steve Darmody.
