World Vision is the largest Christian relief, development and child sponsorship organization in the world, providing a better future to over one million children in almost 50 countries.
I have been a World Vision Associate Artist for 16 years now. During that time our family has continuously sponsored several children. The child we sponsor now is Wilson, from Honduras. We get his report cards and write back with encouragements. World Vision is part of our life. It has been a concrete way that we can be "the hands of Jesus." Our refrigerator door has always held the picture of one of our WV children these past 16 years.
In some places World Vision provides better food through agricultural training or ensuring that kids have an education by building schools and distributing supplies. In other places it might be constructing houses, building clinics or drilling wells. I've visited children in these school buildings, clinics and in their homes.
For $30 a month a child's life can be radically changed. You will receive updates and progress reports of how your gifts are greatly improving the life of your child, their family and the entire community.
