Sponsors are easier to find and recruit than most people think. It just takes going out and hunting. Many concert promoters find sponsors so that they can confirm and book the concert, while others, once they have booked the event, find sponsors to help provide additional revenue for advertising, lodging, as well as stage decorations and a host of other items. Remember, bartering and goods are a great way for a company to become a sponsor. For instance ask the local radio station to sponsor the event with free advertising while you allow them space in the foyer of the concert venue to have an exhibit.
Another way they can support the concert may be in giving a gift to be used in the gift drawing during the concert. Keep in mind that we only have time for 4-6 major items in the drawing, so don't take small items. Tell them a cash gift would be a greater blessing.
As you get donations, email Morning Song the contribution information, including amount, business name and address. We will post a logo and their business information on the "Sponsors" page of your concert website.
Another wonderful idea is to print a Sponsor's Page or recognition sheet to distribute at the concert.
