Public Service Announcement (PSA)

Send PSA's (Public Service Announcements) to all Media Outlets.

It's is always good to keep in contact with your local radio stations, especially when you have something as community friendly as a concert.  Just think of the thousands who will hear that your church is doing something!

You may need to call and find out how they accept PSAs (stationary, email, fax) and the deadline for being used (2 weeks prior, etc). First check their website.  They often post this information online.

Send PSAs to all print publications (including newspapers, activities calendars, chamber of commerce newsletters, cable shows, schools, youth programs, etc.)

There are many communication avenues in your city that post calendar of events, especially on the internet, like your local chamber of commerce and most every radio station has a calendar that you could get your event posted on.  Call them all and find out who to email your PSA too.  Then check to see if it appears and be sure to send a thank you email.

Please update, trim or expand the sample psa's below and email it to all the media outlets in your area.

If you wish to have us send your local station complimentary CDs, then call the station and confirm their address and the name of the person who would get our songs on the air to promote the concert. Then send the complete information you've gathered to Alan in our office (alan@morningsong.org) and we will ship the CDs out immediately.
